Arts Award is a qualification equivalent to GCSE and A level if studied at bronze, silver and gold level. Evidence for the qualification is collected for each unit of work and when ready is submitted by an online portal. As well as physical artwork in the students chosen media, modules such as work experience in the creative industries and project based worked is completed. This can give the student some additional skills and as there is no exam to sit like GCSE and A-level, this can be a better option for those students who would find it hard to sit a formal exam.
