"Poppy was Amy's Art teacher during her GCSE years. This was a difficult period for Amy and she was out of school for most of year 10. Year 11 was spent in a learning centre attached to school with limited teacher contact and support. During this time Amy continued to study Art. She loved Art and never viewed this as a subject, it was her switch off from all that was difficult at that time. Poppy made sure that Amy knew exactly what she was doing and always responded quickly. She went above and beyond with support, guidance, understanding and empathy which contributed to Amys recovery along with gaining a grade 5 in her Art GCSE!"
